Our design services include: master landscape plans, including all hardscape planning and pool placement, hourly consulting, 2 hour landscape consultations with photo CD custom plant list, outdoor kitchen design and planning.
Our two hour consultations are the perfect solution for small planting situations. We can create complete design packages containing computer imaging, scaled plans, and customized plant lists. Master plans of new construction sites are our specialty. We service both residential and small commercial clients.
2 Hour Landscape Consultation
This service is not meant to replace one of our design packages; no drawing is provided. Typically we will walk the area first and then sit down with a laptop containing an extensive plant database. We’ll decide on a list of possible plants and put that list, with photos and botanical information, on a CD for you to keep.
We’ll go back outside and put marking flags in the precise location for each plant. The flags will be marked with the plant’s name.
Consultations can also be used for evaluating your new home’s landscaping, marking trees or shrubs for removal, or any general brainstorming about your project.
2012 2 Hour Consultations are $160.00 in the immediate Capital District; half hour increments may be added at $65.00 per hour.
Landscape Design Packages
We specialize in providing scaled plans for your project. Typically we’ll provide CAD drawings with a plant list of the plants used. We can design all of the elements of any yard:
• Hardscape areas such as walks, patios, and walls
• Driveway / Entrance redesign
• Decks
• Outdoor kitchens
• Pool placement and pool houses
• Plantings
We can also use 3D or photoimage software to help you visualize your new space.
Our design plans are charged at a fixed price determined at your site visit or on an hourly rate of $45 per hour, with an estimate of hours required.
2012 Rates – Fixed Price Guidelines
• Front or back yard typical plan without pool or hardscape $665.00
• Master plan with survey typical $705.00
• Master plan without survey or with existing landscape $785.00
• Larger / more complicated masters $885.00 & up

Additional Services
After your design or consultation is complete we offer these flexible options:
• We can consult on your installation done by you or your contractor. We love collaborating on projects with architects, builders, landscape architects, and contractors. If you need, we can also manage the entire project similar to a General Contractor. One day or weeks at a time; you decide.
• We can implement the installation with our own team and bring every detail of the plan to life. Hardscape, excavation, landscape lighting, and water features are a few of the things we can easily do.
